Apply a thin, even layer of Winlevi cream to the affected areas as directed. Individual needs may vary, but it is often recommended to apply it twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening.

If the cream comes into contact with mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly with water.
What to Avoid
Do not apply Winlevi to skin areas with cuts, abrasions, eczema, or sunburn.
Avoid getting the cream into your eyes, lips, mouth, or nose.
Refrain from using skin-drying products such as medicated soaps, astringents, or cosmetics with high alcohol content.
Common Side Effects
Common side effects are often local to the application site:
Skin redness
Dryness
Scaling
Itching
Serious Side Effects
More pronounced local skin reactions, including Irritation, itching, burning, redness, or peeling can occur. Combining use with abrasive soaps, cleansers, or products that have a strong drying effect (often due to alcohol content) increases the risk of more severe skin reactions.
HPA Axis Suppression: In rare cases, prolonged use on large areas or under occlusive dressings may suppress adrenal gland function, leading to hormone imbalances. These imbalances can increase the risk of infection. Systemic side effects such as these appear more likely to occur in pediatric patients.
Contact your healthcare provider if you experience severe side effects. For further concerns, report them to the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.
